Modern Mediterranean Style: Private Garden Social Hub

This project aims to break down the barriers between indoor architecture and natural landscapes, creating a fully functional and artistic all-season outdoor living room. Inspired by the natural tones of the Mediterranean coast and combined with the clean lines of modern minimalism, the design cultivates a "timeless and relaxed" home atmosphere. The core area features a fully functional wood-fired brick oven and a stone bar counter. This space serves not only as a cooking area but also as the central hub for family gatherings and social interactions. The use of natural stone cladding and raw-textured wood creates a sense of returning to simplicity, adding a ritualistic feel to outdoor dining. The design extensively incorporates warm wooden grilles, rugged natural stone columns, and rattan pendant lights. This "contrast of warm and cool" materials produces excellent light and shadow effects under the glow of sunset, infusing the space with a natural, organic, and sophisticated resort-like ambiance. For practicality, the plant selection focuses on sculptural, drought-resistant species such as olive trees and agaves. This ensures a year-round, high-end aesthetic for the landscape while significantly reducing long-term maintenance costs.

The design concept folds architectural cues into outdoor rooms—balancing openness with enclosure. A mediterranean modern style vocabulary informs thresholds, edges, and focal planters. Program priorities stay anchored in garden design considerations expressed outdoors.
Outdoor living experience emphasizes continuity between interior finishes and garden thresholds: seating oriented to sun paths, privacy planting where sightlines cross levels, and circulation that stays generous near reflective water or lawns. Recurring cues (Bohemian Modern, Gentle Minimalism, Modern Minimalism, Simple and Natural) echo throughout furnished terraces and quiet corners alike.
Materials, planting, and atmosphere stay deliberately restrained so seasonal growth reads clearly: tactile paving near barefoot zones, specimen accents that sculpt silhouette, and palettes calm enough for foliage to carry emotion.
Extended narrative
This is not merely a landscape design, but an exploration of the boundaries of "home"—here, the best room has no ceiling.
