LANDYUO can lead agreed concept design, spatial layouts, material and planting direction, and 3D visualization. The work helps a client and local team decide what the landscape should become and communicate that intent consistently.
LANDYUO does not remotely perform or certify measured surveys, engineering, grading and drainage design, code review, permits, construction documents, procurement verification, site safety, construction supervision or as-built records. Those tasks remain with the appropriately appointed local contractor and qualified local professionals.
Unless a signed proposal expressly states otherwise, LANDYUO deliverables are Concept Design - Not for Construction. This reference supports coordination; signed contracts and applicable local law determine the actual responsibility on a project.
How to read the assignments
Every cell includes a level and a project-specific explanation. More than one party may support or verify a task, but only one role should normally coordinate the lead.

Responsibility matrix questions
Does LANDYUO issue construction documents or permit drawings?
Not under the normal remote concept and visualization scope. Unless a signed proposal expressly says otherwise, LANDYUO deliverables are concept design - not for construction. Local construction documents, permits and professional sign-off remain with appropriately qualified local providers.
Who verifies surveys, drainage, structure and local codes?
The client appoints the local surveyor, engineer or other licensed professional required for the location and project type. That local team verifies boundaries, levels, utilities, drainage, structure, codes and permit requirements. LANDYUO records assumptions but does not certify them remotely.
How does this work for white-label landscape design?
A contractor can use LANDYUO for agreed concept design and visual communication behind the contractor's client relationship. White-label landscape design does not transfer surveying, engineering, permits, construction management or site safety to LANDYUO; those responsibilities must still be named in the project contract.
Can a contractor price work from a 3D rendering?
A rendering can support early scope discussion, but it is not sufficient evidence for a final construction price. The contractor must verify dimensions, quantities, assemblies, access, products and technical details against current local information before quoting or building.
What can LANDYUO provide for a pool contractor?
Pool contractor design support can include concept layouts, surrounding outdoor-living relationships and 3D landscape visualization for contractors. Pool engineering, hydraulics, barriers, structure, code compliance, permits and installation remain with the locally qualified pool and professional team.
Who approves substitutions and checks site quality?
The contractor proposes documented substitutions, the client approves commercial and visual consequences, and the local professional checks regulated performance. LANDYUO can review design intent remotely when included, but does not perform site inspection, workmanship certification or construction supervision.
Does this matrix replace a contract?
No. It is a planning and coordination reference. The signed proposals, consultant appointments, construction contract and applicable local law determine the actual responsibilities for a specific project.
